The class will have a maximum of 7 people. Because of being such a small group of students, a very friendly atmosphere is established, which I am sure,
makes learning easier. It is also allows me to be aware of your progress in class.
There are classes already running which are held on a Saturday and a month apart.
Due to time constraints many people seem to have these days, in relation to making a regular commitment I have had many requests to have an
Intensive Weekend Course, which I am going to hold on the weekend of 14th & 15th August, 2010.
The class times will be 10.00 am until 4.00 pm both days, at the above address. There will be a break of
an hour for lunch. Within walking distance there is Subway, McDonalds and a couple of hotels. Or you may bring your own lunch with you to eat there.
Morning and afternoon tea will be provided.

From this you will learn:
How to observe the planets movements in your own Horoscope and how this sets off the situations and
circumstances you experience in your life
Reading the Ephemeris (which you will need to purchase from me) is the means of being able to see and understand what the planets are doing in the heavens.
You will come to rely on this book and once you know how to read this book, the fascination of being able to have knowledge of what is going on around us in
the heavens can keep your interest well and truly stimulated for the rest of your life. The patterns of the planet positions are always changing and creating
different outcomes. You will be able to watch this for yourself.
This is a Beginner's Course and designed for those who have very little knowledge of Astrology, except perhaps for a general interest or quite good knowledge
of the different characteristics of the Zodiac Signs. Once you get into Astrology you will realise there is more to it than this.
The cost of this Intensive Weekend Astrology Course is $325. There will be a Workbook you will need to purchase
for $35 and the Ephemeris is $65. I do stock a range of other very good learning textbooks that you might like for your own reference.
When a Horoscope is calculated, the Zodiac positions of all the planets in our
Solar System are taken into account. The Sun Sign, (most people know of their
own), represents the lessons you are to learn in this life - what you have to become. The
Moon Sign, however, is an extremely accurate indicator of one's habit patterns,
characteristics that are very well developed and automatic. Most people have their Sun and Moon
in different signs. The only time these two are in the same sign is once a month, for 2 days,
when we have a new moon. To know a person's Moon Sign is to know what drives them.
Mercury's Sign, shows the way the person thinks and makes decisions. This is
often in the same sign as the Sun but not always. The Sign of Venus explains the way the person
relates, the type of people they attract, how they treat money, how they earn their money and
what they enjoy. Mars Sign reveals how the person is motivated, their energy
level. These five planets, The Sun, Moon, Mercury, Venus and Mars are the Personal
Planets. They are closest to the earth and Sun. Their cycles are quite fast hence
they change Zodiac Signs quite frequently. This means people are born with all sorts of
varieties as to the positions of these planets - this creates individuality.
The Outer Planets, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, Neptune and Pluto stay much longer
periods of time in the one Zodiac Sign. This means many people are born with these planets in
the same sign. However, it is how these planets link with the personal planets that brings
individual differences. The cycles of these outer planets herald the periods of major change
in life.
To begin with you will learn about all the Zodiac Signs and the Planets. It is these two
things that are the whole basis of Astrology. You will be working with your own Horoscope and
those of the rest of the class.
Being able to read the Ephemeris will enable you to look up any person's date of birth (as the Ephemeris you will have holds the information on everyday
from the year 1900 to 2050) and see where all the personal planets were positioned. This will enable you to have far greater insight than just their Sun
Sign. Once you know their habit patterns (from the Moon) and their manner of thinking (from Mercury) etc., you can understand where they are coming from.
It will bring out more patience in yourself in your dealings with them, even with people you find difficult. There are reference books giving
interpretations on the Zodiac Signs and Planets. I stock a very good beginners book. With these two reference books, you have a very sound basis
to gain insight into yourself and others. This can be a very valuable tool in life.
By using the Ephemeris, you can plot the effect and influence of the planets movements in the heavens through and upon your own Horoscope as well as
any other Horoscope you may acquire. This will enable you to see, in advance, the exact days or longer term time frame that certain influences will
have their effect upon you. I also stock another textbook that has very good interpretations of what these contacts mean. You will be able to work
out the specific area of your life that will come under certain types of influences, how long they will last and then read up on the interpretation.
You can look back over life as well as into the future. The more you look into the effect of the planetary influences, the greater your knowledge
will become. This is something you will be able to continue with, as much or as little as you like, after you have attended the weekend course.
It is just a matter of knowing how to do it.
There are other methods in Astrology that are utilised for viewing future change as well as past changes in life. These shifting cycles also reveal
the layers of alteration we all take on as our life progresses. It is as if our core self becomes overlaid with other influences through the
experiences we have. These experiences are in response to the pull of the slowly progressing planet changes. This is very individual, based on the
positions of the planets in the birth chart. This, with the daily motion of the planets and their effect on the personal Horoscope contributes to the
development of the wisdom we gain from our life. Another Intensive Weekend Course, perhaps a few months down the track, would be necessary to teach this
side of things to you.
After doing these two Intensive Weekend courses you would have enough basic knowledge to be able to join regular monthly classes if you so desired.
This is maybe all you want to do with Astrology but if you want to go further, there are many other branches to Astrology. There is the Solar Return,
which is the birthday Horoscope that brings into operation a completely new Horoscope each year. This remains in operation until the next birthday. There
is Horary Astrology in which a Horoscope is drawn up for the moment a question is asked, to provide an answer to that question. Synastry compares one
Horoscope with another to draw conclusions about compatibility. There is Financial Astrology, Medical Astrology and on it goes.
It will be possible to have a full Day Class on some of these subjects in the future. The basics need to be understood and worked with for a
while before going on with these other branches.
You have the choice of eventually sitting for exams to gain qualifications. This is not a
necessity of joining the classes though and is not available in the earlier stages. If you
decide to sit for qualifications, as part of your preparation for this you will be taught to
consult. Doing a consultation forms part of the exam. It would take 5 to 6 years of learning
to get to the stage of developing this ability.
I would love to see you choose to journey down this path of enlightenment that Astrology has
to offer. From the earliest stages you will be amazed at what Astrology reveals and whether
you do it for a little while or a long while, it will help you to understand yourself and others,
like nothing else can. Without a doubt, knowledge of Astrology changes peoples lives for the
better.
