The Bio-Rhythm Report is very simple and easy to read because it is a visual diagram of three cycles that change on a continuous basis. One full month is shown on each page of the report. All that is required to do a personal Bio-Rhythm Report is your birthdate. The report comes in a spiral bound folder, which makes it very suitable as a gift with a personal touch.
Bio-Rhythms were discovered at the beginning of the 20th Century by Swoboda, an Austrian psychologist and Fliess, a German doctor. Their theories have been the subject of much research. Their theory states that human activity goes through regular high and low periods. Based on experiments and statistical data, the following durations for these periods were determined:
23 Day Cycle for Physical Strength and Endurance
(represented by a Red Curve on the diagram)
28 Day Cycle for Emotional Activity
(represented by a Green Curve on the diagram)
33 Day Cycle for Intellectual Activity
(represented by a Blue Curve on the diagram)
Reading the Bio-Rhythm Chart
The Bio-Rhythm Chart shows three separate curves. The Physical is red and marked P. The Emotional is green and marked E. The Intellectual is blue and marked I.
These curves flow up and down over the central horizontal axis line. This line marks the critical stage.
The outgoing, projective, positive stage is represented by the section above the axis line (at the centre of the chart).
With the Physical Cycle, this is when the energy level is high, there is a strong desire to get into things, lack of sleep can be coped with well.
When the Emotional Cycle is in the high phase there is a general sense of balance and calmness.
The Intellectual Cycle at this high point brings clarity of mind, good concentration, ease with communication and discussion.
The withdrawing, reflective, restive stage is represented by the section below the axis line (at the centre of the chart).
With the Physical Cycle, this is when the energy level is low, the desire to get into things is greatly lowered, plenty of sleep is required.
When the Emotional Cycle is in the low phase one can be easily upset and there is more likelihood towards feeling depressed. A good period to contemplate how you truly “feel” about a matter. The right answers will emerge.
The Intellectual Cycle at this low point is not good for focussed concentration – your mind will readily drift off. It is good for gaining understanding on the subtleties of a matter.
The days of the month are shown on the horizontal axis line. Every second day is printed. The other days in between are represented by grid lines.
The Risky Days (or critical days) are printed at the bottom of the report. These are the days that any of the cycles cross the line when changing from either high to low, or low to high.
This is when you will be in a state of least resistance. Concentration is generally very poor (on all cycles). A time when you can be accident prone, so there is a need to be very conscious of paying careful attention. Certainly, not a time for doing anything risky or dangerous.
It is also possible to compare 2 individual’s Bio-Rhythms. Both cycles are printed out on the one page. This gives a visual guide to comparison. At the bottom of the report is shown the percentage level of same-ness with each of the cycles.
When there is a High percentage of Similarity between:
The Physical Cycle: two people will feel like “getting things done” at the same time. Their desire for sex will be in sync.
The Emotional Cycle: two people will be “in tune” with one another. There is an ease in understanding – pretty much an unspoken understanding.
The Intellectual Cycle: two people will communicate easily and understand one another. Best to have high compatibility with this cycle if someone is giving you advice on any matter. They will understand what you are seeking.
When there is a Low percentage of Similarity between:
The Physical Cycle: More give and take will have to be established in the relationship. One will have to understand the other’s lack of keen-ness. This will also include sex. One person may be regularly involved in activities of a physical nature while the other may have no interest in this at all.
The Emotional Cycle: Recognition of “sensitive” issues to the other person will not be the best. One person will be more emotionally dependent upon the other. This may oscillate, based on the highs and lows, as the month progresses. It may be an emotional dependence from the same person upon the other that exists continuously. The highs and lows will show the ease in acceptance of this or a “getting fed up with it” phase. The dependent person may want to become more independent when their cycle is high, but it probably won’t happen. The more independent person can feel it is a heavy burden while their cycle is low.
The Intellectual Cycle: Thinking will not be along the same lines. However, this is not always necessary for a successful relationship – it can actually be the success of a relationship, particularly if one person applies their mind to one phase of certain activities and the other person to another phase. Differences in thought processes need to be accepted and at times are absolutely necessary. Bear in mind that relationship can represent any situation in life where there is the necessity to deal with another person.
